Hello
My Story
Tianshu Hu
I was born and raised in China, and I currently live in the San Francisca Bay Area, California. Prior to coming to the United States, I worked in the digital social media and marketing space for four years. My work focused on leading diverse digital projects such as website construction, mobile apps, and digital magazines, emphasizing bridging the gap between client/developer business goals and end-user interests, creatively developing user/customer engagement strategies to expand both use and develop growing customer bases.
Currently, I am in my second year of the San Jose State University Mass Communications Program. During the first year of my graduate studies, I designed my first UXUI project -- LANDit, an English online learning mobile app. That enjoyable design opportunity gave me a great sense of accomplishment from finding the problems to finally solve them, which brought me into the world of UX design.
I desire to expand my conceptual and development skills in the field of UX design because it dovetails my passion for turning abstract and complex ideas into integrated and tangible solutions that combine with deep empathy for the users.
I am currently looking for a challenging and exciting UX Design internship where I can align my passion, creativity, and crafting skills to help build programs in the real world that could address user frustrations, solve unique situational needs, and create valuable solutions that will be loved by people.
